Thank
You
Without the dedication and generosity of our supporters, we would not be able to achieve our aims. We would like to thank all those people who in recent months have given a donation or held sponsored events, raffles, coffee mornings or collections in support of our work. We also very much appreciate the tributes that we have received in memory of loved ones.
We are enormously grateful to the IAS who nominated us as their Charity of the year. An astonishing total of £13,000 was raised by the amazing efforts of the IAS members during various social and sporting events through the year. We will
remain ever thankful for your generosity and support.
A huge thank you to the cycling team of Prologis UK, who have raised just over £8,000 for us. The team
which included members of IAS and representatives
of Prologis, took part in the ‘Prologis Cycle Challenge’ riding 350 miles from Geneva to Nice. The riders
completed the challenge in just over four days. A
tremendous achievement. We are so grateful for all
of their efforts.
Our grateful thanks also go to the following companies and organisations who have generously supported Regeneration.

Here are just some of the ways your support has helped us:
It has enabled us to:-
* Continue our support of key research projects
* Further develop and improve our support services
* Commit more resources to finding and developing effective treatments
* Provide much needed rehabilitation equipment. Giving people opportunities
to undertake exercise and physiotherapy programmes in their own homes
* Continue our programmes to increase awareness and understanding of ataxia
* Commit more resources for research into symptom management and
improving peoples quality of life
Once again, thank you so much for your support, which allows us to continue to build on the unique work we do for people affected by ataxia.
Growth
and Development
Receiving the support of a development grant provided a great opportunity for us to move forward. Building on our achievements at our Essex base, Regeneration opened a new office in Somerset. This has enabled us to widen the support we give to people and their families affected by ataxia at a local level.
We will work hard and continue to do all we can throughout the year to ensure that ataxia research is funded and that people and their families are supported through our range of services. |
